Perennial Lantanas

Yes there are Lantanas that are Perennial for our area of Zone 7; however you must be cautious in buying and planting them. 

 

More information will be added to this page later.  For now the one bit of important advise is if you are trying to overwinter Lantanas, DO NOT CUT THEM BACK UNTIL SPRING WHEN NEW GROWTH APPEARS.  The photo below shows new growth of 'Mrs Huff'  appearing at the base of the stems.  It is truly amazing that this plant can start new each spring and grow to over head high before August.
