Orange Herbed Rice

Prep time: 20 minutes                                                                     Serves: 6

2 cups   cooked brown rice
2 cups  cooked wild rice
green onions, chopped
1/2 cup  chopped pecans
2 tbsp. orange rind
1/2 cup  orange juice
1/3 cup  currants
1/4 cup  chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup  chopped fresh basil
1/4 tsp.  salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper

1. Combine brown rice and wild rice in a large serving bowl.    

2.  Add all other ingredients tossing well. 

3.  May be served hot or covered and chilled before serving.
