Rustic Herb Bread 

2 cups plain flour                                                       

1 cup shredded cheese                                            

1tsp sugar                                                                   

2 tsp baking powder                                                  

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

½ Tblsp fresh rosemary, chopped

½ tsp dried thyme

½ Tblsp fresh dill, chopped

1 tsp dried parsley

3 Tblsp cold butter or stick margarine

1 egg

½ cup plain yogurt

½ cup fat free milk

 

Mix group of ingredients in left column.  Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.  In another bowl, whisk the egg yogurt and milk. Stir into dry ingredients until just moistened.  Spoon into 9-in. round pan coated with cooking spray.

 

Bake at 400   20-25 min. until golden brown
